Shopping for a new baby is exciting. Parents sometimes spend hours walking from one store to the next to find the most adorable clothes, funky toys, quality bedding, delightful wallpaper and drapery for the nursery, and many other accessories necessary to properly welcome their child into this world.

One of the items every mum should have on her shopping or wish list is a nappy bag. Also referred to as diaper bags, a nappy bag is a large storage tote with plenty of space to carry everything that is required to care for a baby during outings. Typically, nappy bags have lots of pockets and a shoulder strap in case mum or dad is not using a stroller with a sizeable storage bin.

Playing with newborn babies doesn't come naturally to most of us ... and that is completely understandable when you consider that newborn babies themselves have no inbuilt idea of how to play!
